Grid element with Unicode symbol as custom name disappears in Elevation views

I'm trying to use a grid element with the Property Line unicode symbol (U+214A) as the grid name. This is beneficial because all of my sections and elevations will automatically show the grids dimensioned to parallel property lines. ArchiCAD seems to support this character and it will display correctly in Plan and Section, but changing the grid name from a regular letter to this symbol seems to make the grid element disappear in Elevation views.

Any suggestions?

UPDATE

I was mistaken about the cause of this issue. I was able to solve it by updating the Elevation settings > Grid Tool > Show Grid Elements by Name > Selected.

Update: the grid element disappears in Elevation when I change the name to anything other than whatever it defaults to.
