Grid tool of hotlink not showing on host

Is there a reason why the grid tool of a hot linked Teamwork PLN doesn't show on a host PLN file?

I tried placing a wall in the same layer as the grid tool and it shows OK, but the grid tool no.

Could you post 2 screenshots of how it looks in the Hotlinked Module, and how it looks in the host file?

Never mind, I found the problem. I was linking a single story of a multi-story file. The grid tool was placed on the ground floor, but showing on all stories. I was placing the basement so the grid did not appear. When I placed the ground story the grid showed on all the other stories too
