Helvetica texts in Master Layout and GDL objects suddenly not showing on published PDFs

Freak incident: Helvetica texts in Master Layouts, layouts, model space, GDL scripts, are not publishing into PDFs (checked out in Preview and Acrobat Reader; also just in case imported into AC and exploded) even though they show fine on screen. Helvetica is a system font. Arial and Helvetica Neue are publishing fine. 

[MacOS 14.8.2, AC29.1.0 SPA 4006. Probably irrelevant because these texts in this tw file on this computer had been publishing fine for weeks or months.]

PS: found issue brought up already. Since I am not messing around with system fonts, I guess the solution is to just avoid Helvetica.
