How to create a Index/ Table of Contents in Layout/Master Layout

Dear Friends,
I have completed a set of construction drawings. Now I want to add an Index / Table of Content. Instead of manual input every time I prefer to develop a Layout/Master layout which will take this info automatically. I know how to use autotext in a layout. But to develop an Index/Table of Contents seems difficult.

1. Sl NO
2. Each Subset Name of a Specific Folder from my View Map
3. Drawing Number (I think it could be the page number)

Please let me know ur opinion, experience, or suggestion regarding Index creation. It would be really helpful if you can share a tutorial related to this issue.
