How to remove the space between layout ID and name

i.e. the filename would be "A221-2-B_LayoutName.pdf"
not "A221-2-B_ LayoutName.pdf" (I used three spaces so you'd get my point more easily).

Are you aware of the "Rename Items" command in the Publisher Sets tab page of the Navigator?
You may be able to achieve this desired File Name result using this command:
