We run into needing this all of the time. Someone leaves the caps lock on, which is traditional for architectural lettering. But it should also go the other way. Please give us a way to edit text case with multiple options. Otherwise, we have to manually type everything again to comply with company standards. A simple red button could be installed to do this.

I share your interest in enhancing text formatting capabilities within Archicad. To address this, I’ve proposed a wishlist item titled "Text Tool Capitalization Options (All Caps, Small Caps, etc.)", aiming to provide more versatile text formatting directly within the software.
Your support would be valuable:

I run into this all the time. Old School, I prefer text on the drawings to be all caps. (I believe it's more legible on half-size prints.) Besides inadvertently having CAPS OFF. I import text from other sources. If it's more than a few words, I run it thru Adobe InDesign which I also use for standard blocks of text (abbreviations) placing as PDFs.. If that's not in your tool kit, I think Apple Pages, or MS Word can change case.
Still it's probably simple code built into the OS, GraphiSoft could make it easily available. Quite a few low-level conveniences neglected.
Multi-cultural Add-ons? Phew!
