Importing ArchiCAD files into Plotmaker

When importing an ArchiCAD file into Plotmaker it comes with a different scale then the one specified in ArchiCAD. For example if the scale in ArchiCAD is 1:100 it is imported 1:96 in Plotmaker. If the scale in ArchiCAD is 1:50 it is imported 1:192. This is a hassle for the texts that are in the imported drawings. What am I missing? When the links are updated the scale goes back to 1:96 (or the scale set in ArchiCAD)

Thanks,

Be sure that you have set up an appropriate view set with the anticipated output scale, display options and layer set. This will be what plotmaker uses to place all of your settings correctly.

You probably have your Archicad set in Metric units, and your plotmaker set to Imperial units. 1:96 & 1:192 are common scales when Imperial units are translated in ratios like that.

Thank you both for replying, setting up the scale in the Preset views solved the problem.
