Is it a file that you have migrated from say version 20 to 22?
Or did it start it's life in version 22?
I am wondering if there is a new setting in the label that wasn't there before in the old version library.
Editing the label may force this new option to activate.

I believe it was a file brought up from AC21

I don't see any different label options between 21 & 22 (there are new options in 23).

When you select one of the 'bad' labels and before you move it, what does the connection point settings show (see attached image).

Interestingly I can't make the line join the bottom of the text box as shown in your 'bad' examples.
So I am not sure why they are showing like this.

I have encountered this label bug in ARCHICAD going back to version 11! I don't know exactly what causes it but I have found a way to quickly fix the labels when this happens.
- Select the labels that are showing incorrectly
- Reserve them if working in a teamwork file,
- Open the Label Selection Settings
- When the settings box opens, click OK. You don't have to change any of the settings, just click OK.
- Your labels should go back to the correct settings.

I'll try that but I've noticed that it doesn't matter how many times you do that....the labels seem to revert back to the "line at the bottom" of the label tag. yes, you can move them back and forth and yes, you can select them all and click "OK" but......they seem to 'graphically' (visually) go back to the line at the bottom but on the sheets they appear correct? Very very odd behaviour.

Hi Rob,

Thank you for sharing the issue and I am sorry about the experience!

I have tried to replicate the problem myself (create a simple file in ARCHICAD 21, then migrate it to ARCHICAD 22), but unfortunately, the issue did not happen to me. Since we haven't received any similar record so far, I'm wondering if you are willing to share a sample file with us for a closer look? Let me know here or by PM if you'll need a link to securely forward the file for investigation!

Looking forward to hearing from you!

Best regards,
Minh
