Label – Quick Connect/Disconnect ?

A free label is connected to an element, for example, using Ctrl+Click element.

How can I disconnect a label from an element and use it as a free (unconnected) label?

Usually, when I clone a label (Move+Ctrl), the new label is also connected to the element. Sometimes this works, but sometimes it doesn't.

Therefore, I usually copy and paste to get a clone of the label, but it's no longer connected to the element.

Is there a faster way to disconnect a label from an element (without copying and pasting)?

Hi,

You can try and convert to independent label:

Ooooo! Thank you so much!

I hadn't noticed this menu option before (Convert to Independent Label)
