Library Object is Scaled Down in after Re-saving

I have saved a roof Plan of the house as a objected (House.gsm)

I place the saved library part within my Siteplan pln. All looks good. Create a Quickview for import to PlotMaker.

In PlotMaker the House object is scaled down from the one placed in the PLN....?

Any Help would be Appreciated.

I did a test:
- Roof plan (scale 1:100) saved as a .gsm in plan view
- .gsm placed on site plan and saved as a view in view sets in scale 1:400
- Placed view in PM and everything looked OK
- Selected AC view in PM and tried to override the view scale default - changed it to 1:200 and had no problems.

Am I missing something in your text or did you do the same procedure and still has a problem?

It turns out that the object was scaled down only after the object was modified and then re-saved.

I will try to explain. The original object was saved (1/8 scale in floor plan window, this does not seem to matter) and placed in a PLN file. The Saved Quickview is imported into a LBK.

My original Object when saved was created to have a x-value of 52'-6" and a y-value of 64'-8". If the object is increased in either of these directions (or both) the x and y values of course change appropriately, yet the view of the previously placed object is scaled down to "fit" in the "old" x, y bounding area. This scales down the object. Also if the re-saved object is placed again in the same PLN as the previously placed, the New object is correctly scaled. The other object remains "scaled-down".

Doing a quick test, If the object was re-saved with a reduced x and/or y dimension all previously placed objects are scaled-up after a re-saving of the object.

Did the above happen in the object's .gsm script or in AC plan view? Did the 3D view of the object change in scale correctly even though the plan view wanted to resume to the original looks?

If this is the case - try opening the .gsm for this object and check the "Fit size to 2D symbol" (and if that does not work maybe also the top radio button as well ("Store the ratio of curr ...")
