Line Weight not uniform in PDF

Anonymous
Not applicable
I've been struggling with a line weight issue and I hope you can help me out.

In a nut shell, I have noticed that when I create a pdf of my drawings, lines created using the same line weight are showing as different in the pdf.

For example, the leader lines shown in the attached screen shot are all .30 lines but they do not appear uniform.

You seem to have provided a screenshot of a PDF.

On screen line widths may seem to vary at different magnifications as the software applies anti-aliasing.

The questions that remain are:
1. do the lines still show as different weights as you enlarge your view more and more?

2. do they print as unevenly as they show on the screenshot?

3. are you using the built in PDF save as from ArchiCAD? because the PDF should be vectorial whereas your screenshot is definitely a bitmap image.
