PLT and DWG in PM

I got two situations:

1- When import .dwg in PM the print doesn't show lineweghts.
2- Whe import .plt in PM the following message appear: Unimplemented Instruction Occurred. "MC" "QL" "AC" "SV" "EC".

How can I handle those issues?

I cannot view plt files on plotmaker. They were created using autocad 2000. Theres a message error that says"hpgl error at offset 1220 in line 37, position 18.
Does anybody knows what it means?

Which plotter were they made for? If not HP, there might be additional cotrol codes that confuse PlotMaker.

There was a discussion on this, do a search.

Dear Jose

Please post the PLT file on this form as an attachement.

I think I know what portion of the code to erase, but cannot tell you what to look for until I see that it matches with my assumption.

hope I can help.

For General Info.
I tried opening the file using different programs that read PLT's all gave the same message that the file was not compatible.

When I tried converting the plt file using AutoCAD's convert from plt to dwg command I got the following message
"The selected plt file is not in the proper HPGL format"
If this plt was created with AutoCAD than that means that the options for the language of the plotter/printer selected to create the file was not HPGL so no matter the file extension it is not a PLT file. The other option is that the selected printer language was HPGL/2 which gives trouble all around.
So knowing that even AutoCAD cannot open the file we can safely assume that it is a creation error from the AutoCAD side.
