Wow! With the drag-n-drop feature you can select as many drawings as you like from a folder, drag-n-drop them all at once into your layout page and each time you left click, the next drawing will be added to what ever location you clicked on!

For example, from the Kohler website you can select the drawings (dwg or dxf) for front, end, and plan view, drag them all onto your layout page and click,click,click.

I have a folder for Foundation details. Now I can select
as many of them as I want to use and drag them all at the same time onto the layout page, shuffle them around a bit so I can watch the detail reference markers change automatically( I love that) the scale of some of them, what ever. No more x-reffing. It's fun!

You can also copy and paste the web or file folder address for the drawings into the layout sheet as a linked object(OLE) so you can quickly jump back to the page or folder where you got the details when your client changes their mind(again)or wants to see pictures of more choices.

whilst this is fine for the PC users, the mac users should note that 'iDrop' technology doesn't work for us . . .

we still have the ability to drag and drop DWG files locally into archiCAD and plotmaker, but dragging a DWF from a website doesn't work. on the PC, this pulls across the underlying DWG into the layout book . . .
