Printing PDF with on screen colors of Trace Reference

Has anyone figured out how to print the trace layers as pdf? While displaying the coloring selections set in the trace & Reference pallet.

For example on screen I have the 1st level all set to pink, while at the same time i have the 2nd level set to orange. When one tries to print the pdf, the print job defaults to what the 2d selection settings are for all parts, rather than creating the monochromatic floor plan which is displayed in the on screen options set from the "Trace & Reference" pallet.

Naturally one would think... just do a print screen... however, it would be quite a bit more cumbersome compared to figuring out how to get the same results from the print menu.

Thanks in advance for the input.

I haven't tried it but I don't think you can do what you describe. You can accomplish the equivalent by overlaying views in a layout and setting their pen for the colors you want.

>Document >Publisher > Publish
Use the Layouts to PDF panel.
Select a folder with PDFs or at least one PDF.
With Format set to PDF, click the Document Options button.
Check the "Print References" radio box.
That will force the trace to print with the layout.
Works in 13 and 14. Maybe since 11~

As Matthew says, print the layout itself with a 50%
monochrome pen set, to make it look like a trace.
