Problem with saving borderless pdf file

Hi,

I'm having some issues with archicad. The way I usually save pdfs is I drag everything I need into a master layout in the layout book.

Everything is fine, but if I want to make an edge to edge pdf in the total size of the paper (so that things exceed the margins, the blue lines) it will save it as 2 or 4 different pages. I can reduce the margins to 0 in the settings but it still doesn't let me save anything as one whole page as a pdf that goes over like a 5mm margin or so from the paper edges.

I have tried different PDF writers (cure pdf) and this solves the problem, but they dont handle archicad gradients and other stuff well. Is it possible to override the stock pdf writer somehow in some settings so that you can save as pdf files that are borderless pages. So that you could just draw way over the page and it only saves the content of the page but no margins whatsoever ?

Thanks

Sounds to me like you are not "Publishing" your layout pages.
I am guessing you are "Printing" them - (i.e. File menu > Print)

When you set up the Publisher and set that to "Save" as a PDF then it will use the built in PDF converter and will use the Master page size as your PDF page size automatically.

Ok, let me specify the problem a little bit. How I export the pdf is, when im in a master layout I just choose Save as and PDF. Everything is fine but when I set the Margins to 0 in settings it saves it as like 4 different pages or so. Everything is fine with margins down to 5mm or so, but anything less will result in this. When printing with a pdf writer the issue is gone (cutepdf) but that writer doesn't work good with gradients and such

I have seen what siimolen describes. Something changed in AC17 were if you have a Master Page with margins set at 0 you will not be able to "Print" to a single page. If you publish the set and use Preview or Acrobat to print there is no problem with the page size. This was not an issue in AC16.

The workaround as siimolen found is that Masters cannot have 0 margins. The other i to publish to PDF first and then print.
