I just noticed that every view that is placed to layout is "saved to project" in default. How much this affect to the file size of project files? I have been struggling with huge file sizes in my projects (over 1 Gb). There is a hundreds of layouts in project, so could that be the reason?
And if the automatic update is enabled, what is the reason I should even save placed views to the project file?
