Railing Tool - Calling Up Properties

is there a way to call up properties of the Railing Tool, such as the Override Top Rail Surface?

screenshot below are the only things that get called up in the Expression Editor in the Properties:

I'm simply trying to call-up the PC1 part (with the split command) in the Property Manager so i can use a label tool on it.

The exact same issue pops up again & again, despite now knowing Mapping IFC Properties & calling up finishes to doors & windows, this is still not available in the Railing Tool.

almost 3 years on & working with AC 27 right now, but is this finally solved in 28/29???

Expression-based Properties can not use Library Part parameters. The Surface parameter you are referring to in your first post is a parameter of the "Profiled Rail 22" Library Part. This functionality would have to be developed. There is a wish for it on the Wishlist, but unfortunately, it has been put On Hold for now:
