I am experiencing a select/mouse bug that is affecting general usage of ArchiCAD:
Selecting and deselecting items is broken in 2D and 3D.
I believe it may be due to a recent MacOS update, as other computers in the office are on earlier OSs and are not experiencing the problem.
Currently on Sonoma 14.6.1
ArchiCAD 26 (7005) Apple Silicon
Video attached demonstrating.
Bug 1 - Selecting items:
Expected behaviour:
- Select an item holding shift, select a second item,
- Move mouse away, free to select further items as needed
Actual behaviour:
- Select an item holding shift, select a second item.
- Move mouse away initiates a drag. I have to escape out of the drag in order to select further item
Bug 2 - Deselecting items:
Expected behaviour:
- Multiple items selected
- Shift click to deselect one of the items.
- Item is deselected. Happy days.
Actual behaviour:
- Multiple items selected (after going through the rigmarole of Bug 1)
- Shift click to deselect one of the items.
- Drag or transform action is initiated instead.
- There is no way to deselect one item, so escape out, and start selecting again.
The same happens using bluetooth mouse and also with the MacBook trackpad, so it does not appear to be hardware related.
Operating system used: Mac Apple Silicon 14.6.1 Sonoma

Solved:
We found that the "Magnet" app had been recently updated. Quitting it solved the issue.
