Shadow Display in Elevation

Archicad (27) noob here. Also Archicad forum noob...because I'm sure someone else has posted this topic but I can't find it
At one point in time, my elevations printed with a shadow like in the first photo.
Now I seem only able to print elevations with shadows displaying as an unsightly hatch (see second photo).
Could someone please clarify what I'm doing wrong?
Operating system used: Windows 3001

Thanks @Barry Kelly & @Lingwisyer - fortunately I was able to find an old version of the file that I'd saved off
The settings being used to achieve the desired shadow appearance as seen in my original post were:
Windows 11 Pro 26100.3476
Asus Tuf A15 FA506IU
16GB RAM | AMD Ryzen 7 4800H with Radeon Graphics 2.90 GHz

Check in the elevation settings to see what fill/colours you have for the shadow.

I am guessing that you are using a 3rd party PDF printer given have the shadow fill has printed. Try using the inbuilt Publisher.
