Sticky Pens

I'm working in a layout and want to change the pen set from a layout version (all black) to a modeling version (various wonderful colors) but when I go to change it wants to change back or not change at all.

Any suggestions.

Did you save the pen set or just change the pen settings?

Each view placed on your layout may have a different pen set assigned to it too.

Plus the Layout itself has a separate Pen Set that applies to elements drawn onto the Layout. That is the Pen Set that is in effect when no placed Drawing is selected.
