I am into very basic questions this morning. I want to create custom colours and am using the pen & color box to add RGB values for colours I want. Having done so I choose to save these custom colours and it pops over to the Custom colour box on the bottom right. Whilst there are a lot of boxes for custom colours new colours always over ride a previously created custom colour and I can therefore only store the latest new one. Trying to store the new custom colour on one of the custom colour boxes simply overiwrites the just created new colour with that of the default custom colour box (black).
I am probably doing something absolutely dumb but hope that someone takes pity on this long-time AC user.

Thank you for that. I've just discover what I'd done wrong. One has to select the custom colour square where it is intended to put the new colour before creating the new colour. Very simple!

PS: Sorry about spelling 'Colour' as per the majority of the western world, rather than US! It's coming wrong for me every time!
