Can someone verify that you can stretch witness lines in R17-3013 US. I am apparently unable to do it.

It would be better if it were not the same indicator for adjusting all of the witness lines as for an individual witness line.

It would also be nice if we could adjust selected witness lines rather than just one or all witness lines in a chain.

I do like the ability to work my way along the dimension chain adjusting the witness lines individually with out having to reactivated the tool each time.

You can select as many witness line nodes as you like and adjust them in one move, not just one or all. But, yes, you need to toggle between select and adjust for lines of different adjustments. That hasn't changed from the old way. I'm so used to that it doesn't bother me, but it would be quicker to eliminate that necessity.

That's great. I didn't know you could do that. But you can never adjust the witness lines longer than they were when the dimension was originally placed, it that right ?

When originally placed, the witness line gap corresponds to the setting in the tool settings. You can then adjust it to any length including 0.

is it possible to extend the witness line in both directions? for example two doors opposite each other in a hallway? i've tried just drawing a line but, even setting the line to the same pen as the witness line it appears thicker when the on screen view option is set to true line weight and also in PDF. never mind, it's working now for some reason.

The ability to stretch a witness line in both directions would be a useful improvement--as would a LONG standing wish to choose the line type (like a centerline type).
