Hi, everybody.
Is there a way to make wall end object affect (shorten) the length of the wall when partial structure display is on?

The Partial Structure Display (PSD) option is implemented in GDL (its state can be queried and then stuff generated or not based on its value), but as far as I can see none of the Wall End objects in the default ArchiCAD Library are PSD-aware.
You can use a Column with a Complex Profile as Wall End. See the attached image.
You can see the profile of the column. I selected the plaster in it and you can see that it is set to be a "Finish" component. The main body of the Column is set to "Core" component.
In the right side of the image you can see it placed. You can see where the vertical Wall stops from its displayed Reference Line.
The skins of the Complex Profile Column will react to the Partial Structure Display setting.

Why is this?
Shouldn't the wall end be by default classified as finish?

Hmmm... I swear I checked it before.
But now when I place a Wall End, for example Returned End, it DOES react to changing Partial Structure Display options. Both in AC17 and AC18.
But now that I checked there are also problems with them.
For example, with the Cased End and Returned End objects, certain skins do disappear in 2D when PSD is set to Without Finishes, but do not disappear when this is done in 3D. So it behaves differently in 2D and 3D.
I will report this to Graphisoft.
