Wall thickness

I have a following problem with the wall thickness. In my main computer the wall thickness works fine archicad 17, but in my main laptop the wall thickness takes only the values 1,2,3 etc. When i put the value 0.25 the thickness become 0, when i put 1.35 the thickness become 1 etc. My working units are meters with two decimals. Any ideas;

Check your "Work Environment" settings. It's probably different from the laptop to the desktop. Also check the "Project Preferences" settings. Maybe same ussue.

It is so strange to work fine in the desktop and in my very good laptop to have this issue. I forgot to say that both have win 7 64bit

This is usually set by your model units under Options> Project Preferences> Working Units...

Is there any round down function or choice in archicad that maybe enables and make the issue; I also checked the regional settings of my laptop which is bought from USA and i did found nothing strange. hmm... and the mystery keeps going on...

Yes there is. You should also do a search for Region Settings in your Windows Search bar. From there click on Additional Settings.

Cheers,

Where is the round down function in archicad; In the regional settings (additional settings) everything is ok.

For display, look at Options > Project Preferences > Working Units. For dimensions, look at Options > Project Preferences > Dimensions.

You should add a Signature to your Profile (click the Profile button near the top of this page) with your ArchiCAD version and operating system (see mine for an example) for more accurate help in this forum.
