Pretty sure those are in the "Opening Lines"
settings of the window. You can turn them off,
but then they won't appear in elevation.

I think all you can do is to make them a thinner pen so they blend into the frame lines rather than being thicker than them.

Check to see if the opening line visibility can be controlled via Model View Options (MVO), they can in the US library. You can attach different MVO settings to different Views, so for the elevations they would be on and for sections off.
You should add a Signature to your Profile (click the Profile button near the top of this page) with your ArchiCAD version and operating system (see mine for an example) for more accurate help in this forum.
