Let me explain it better, I wonder if the same section (or elevation) mark configured to show shadows and colors (for presentation purposes) can be in an other LAYOUT BOOK page just in Black and white for construction documentation purposes.

Interesting point though...
It does seem a mite inconsistent that plan and 3D views can have different display options but for sections and elevations they are locked in to the viewpoint settings. But then section have always been different...
