differences after exporting to PDF

I have noticed that after exporting to PDF directly from ACad there are some differences in line thickness, fills, and also some odd line behaviour. Can this be fixed with some settings tune?

are you outputting with a different penset than you are working with on screen? the pen weights are adjusted in the various default pensets to account for scale . . .

Hmm.., can you guide me where to set pen weights for PDF export. I thought that what you see is what you get when publishing to PDF from ACad's workbench. The scale is the same in both cases - 1:50. Thanks

sorry pawel - i may have misunderstood you.

i was still thinking of archicad as just the modelling environment: to clarify... the penset that you see in the modelling environment may not be the penset that is assigned to the drawing in the layout environment. however, what you see on a layout should be what you get in your PDF. although in saying that, it is possible to be viewing your layouts as 'hairline' (bad, bad, bad - it should be 'true weight' and nothing else!) . . .

if you are seeing a difference between the model pens and the layout pens, click on the placed drawing and open it's settings (a drawing is now a fully-fledged 'element' complete with tool settings), and take a look at the settings i've posted below . . .

it also might be worth exploring your PDF resolution settings. no idea where to find them on a PC, or even if they are a user setting . . . just a thought . . .

Thanks Ben,

Looks like the PDF resolution set below 300dpi has a great influence on the quality, but still I cannot get rid of strange quirks in dash line.
