how can I hide section markers on "existing" and "demolition" filters?

Good morning brains trust!

I am struggling to find a way to hide section markers on the different renovation filters. Any tips please?

Unfortunately this is a limitation of the renovation filters at the moment. You can’t assign markers (elevation, section etc.) to renovation filters. You would have to control their visibility by layer.

Thanks Lee, I spent hours trying to nut this out. That's a very simple answer! So to create layers, far out, where do I begin. Would you have a screenshot of how you set up layers for three stages of existing / demolition / new?? ~A

If I want to control the visibility of new and existing section and elevation markers I normally create a duplicate layer for each. One named existing and one named proposed then just switch the relevant one on in the combination for the relevant view.

Another example of Graphisoft not listening to its users - this question has been asked since at least 2012 with still nothing changed.

Seems like a pretty necessary function to be able to show detail markers on a proposed plan without having to generate extra layers - but instead of getting the basics right,  they would rather bring out more and more useless functions that we won't use with each new release.

We're also still waiting for them to change the text pasting in random font size issue since AC22.

Or having to change the registry to be able to read the text in a text box since AC27 was first release. The go to response seems to be it's a windows problem...

Come on Graphisoft - listen to your users!
