keep frame size but rescale drawing?

is this possible - I've often wished for this feature since way back - to either:

- freeze the frame size, then try different scales

or

- size the frame to cell or layout without changing scale

the *least* useful feature, in my humble opinion, is the one we have: fit drawing to layout or cell, and change scale accordingly to match whatever fits

Only the latter, AFAIK. And you will need to do that manually, by offsetting the edge using the pet palette.

In AC11 it may be easier to ghost your layout and change your scale in the model viewpoint.
