pdf resolution control

Is there anyway to control the output resolution when saving pdf files to the publisher? Do you know what the default dpi is set at?

Thanks

Archicad PDFs are vector, so there is no resolution.

The only resolution I've seen is the arc resolution in the PDF Options dialog, from Document Options.

GS says this about it: The Arc resolution setting reflects the fact that the PDF format does not recognize arcs/circles and must approximate them by converting them to polygons. The Arc resolution setting defines the accuracy of these polygons.

Doesn't seem to make a lick of difference to me...

Cheers,

Yes the setting is there.... but it only affects images in the PDFs you create, like maps or photos.

There is only one way to reduce the resolution (unfortunately).

File/Page set up/ choose Adobe printer/OK/printer/ there you can reduce the resolution.

300 dpi can be too big for e-mail.

Will that then reduce it in the publisher output? I don't think so

Try it.
You can reduce to 72 dpi.
