Are you sure you are using the 'Level Dimension' tool?
Barry.

Wrong tool. You want to be using the Level Dimension Tool, in plan rather than the Dimension Tool.
Ling.
ps. The Elevation setting for the Dimension Tool just measures the distance up the page from the origin in plan.

sorry, not English speaker, i thought level dimension tools means i change the dimension to the type that tells height.
didn't notice they are two tools
but level dimension can't relate to slab height, right?
it only shows +30.
but the number i want is +175.
i asked my colleague and their dimension tools work fine
but i don't know why mine does not in this file.

Autotext items in Level Dimensioning Text is a feature that was not available in Archicad 25. It was introduced in Archicad 26.
