update detail boundary

Tom Krowka

Say I have drawn a detail boundary on a plan and have worked on the detail by adding fills, lines, notes, etc.

Now I want to make the boundary bigger on the plan to encompass more area. Also want to retain the work I have done on the detail and simply add to it.

Can't seem to do it.....any help there?

Thanks.

Tom:

Change the Detail boundary in Plan, then go to the Detail window and select from the context menu "Rebuild from Source View". Except for Dimensions being changed to static, the other 2D elements should remain.

The boundary changes, but not the clipping polygon. I can't seem to move that. It does not appear that the two are connected.

Tom:

To edit the Detail boundary in the 2D window, make sure that "Marker Range" is visible under On-Screen display Options.
