Draw a circle. Then set the Special Snap Points to 8 And use them to draw your walls

If you want a hip roof the easiest way is to select the Roof Tool. Select the PolyRoof then hold Spacebar to get Magic Wand and click on the outside edge of your wall to set the pivot point. Then when the Dialog Box comes up fill it in and press OK.

You need to put you specs in your signature because I have ver 10 and you probably have ver 12. So the answer might be different.
