Is there a way to make the zone colours (category) visible in the section?

Workaround (note: make sure your zones have the height + trimmed to roof fitting the way you want to see them): make 3D sections, save them as 3D document, showing the zones, overlay this view on layout.

Or just draft up some fills with colours.
