Redefine favorite objects

I have a list of favorite windows for a specific projects, but sometimes I change something in one window and I would like to redefine that into my previous favorite but the redefine opton is turn off. Then I have to open the settings for my favorite, make all the changes I already did in the window and then redefine the favorite. It would be faster if I can change a window and transfer those changes into an already made favorite. It´s that possible?

I have just closed Archicad but I am pretty sure if you have your changed window selected, then you can redefine the favourite.

Redefining is possible. Are you using the favorite palette or the tool dialog?
