angle+length hotspot, instead of x length+ y length, not working

I’d swear I've done this before but it is not working: instead of using an x-position length-hotspot and a y-position length-hotspot to position a polyline corner, I tried going polar (turn angle hotspot + length hotspot) which could simplify interface and math. But it is not working. Each of the two hotspots appear and work fine when quoting the other one out, but with both of them active only the first one shows.

pp[np][2] is turn angle, pp[np][1] is segment length.

[btw1: I don't know for how long the flag 7 reference hotspot has been appearing in the Reference Guide for angle editing, nor where that reference hotspot is supposed to be placed and what it is supposed to do]

[btw2: we have a Param-O post label but not a GDL post label?]

That's is because the post was in the wrong forum.

There is a GDL forum where it is obviously a GDL post, then just label as question or discussion.

I thought I remembered having used that forum. But.

It hides in the developer's section.

Not really a problem.

Someone will just move it if they think it needs to be moved.

I am pretty sure you can't combine  length and angle moving hotspots together.

I usually have the length hotspot that rotates with the angle as you have done, but then define the angle hotspot with half of the length or length x 0.95 or some other factor.

Yes, making them separate works, the point is having them overlap so that you modify length and angle in a single move (just as with x-position and y-position length hotspots).

Re: forum and hiding a GDL forum in a “Developer Hub”, just one more of the Verschlimmbesserungen that have so successfully messed up everything over a few years now. Just as the unavailable Undo for my accepting your post as a solution with a wrong click. But don't get me going because then I start getting messages saying I need to be more polite and pretend everything works fine.

You should be able to un-mark an answer as the solution, but you have to go into the post options.

If you don't see this, let me know and I will un-mark it.
