The lesson is they want you to keep giving them money for what you already have with no improvements, fixes or new features ( Archicad Studio)....
......
...or....you give them MORE money to get some new features which may or may not be worth that more money you're paying for it (Archicad Collaborate and Max).
Their record suggests it won't be.
New features being released as broken, half-baked, incompatible with your current projects of workflow, or just plain pontless.....seems to be the standard operating procedure at GSHQ these days.
Heck, their Physically Based rendering dispaly mode STILL can't, and doesn't show white colors and white materials as white. We work in a profession where accurate representation of color and material are paramount.
Is it still in "Experimental" mode two three versions after they first introduced it?
Then why use it to advertise new versions as a new feature if it's still broken or not working correctly?
And if you go through all their other new features and tools, I'd place good money on a bet that you'll find these kind of annoying things that they could fix but either can't or won't, but most certainly and most importantly, STILL haven't and still want to act like they should be patted on the back for introducing them half-baked.
Don't release new features until they READY for use.......
.....and for ALL platforms and not just for half (or really, ....less than half....far less than half...) of your userbase.
We all know that PC users carry the bulk of the license fee resource burden and yet we're the ones that keep getting screwed over in new features over and over again. Nobody should be getting credit or praise for PC users finally getting Dark mode while Mac users have had it for what? 5?, 6 years? longer?
The same will be the story with mutli-monitor capability whenever they get around to letting PC users have that freedom (if they ever.....Is it still,... "On Hold",.....at the Wishlist section?.......oh wait, .....it's now just ...... "Submitted".....which is just "On Hold" with a new suit and a rebrand. Just like most of their new version releases these days.
Don't get me started on the joke that the Wishlist section and the Roadmap have become.)

Graphisoft is blurring the distinction between software features and language options, which calls its transparency and integrity into question.
