I have 2 PCs in the office, I need to choose one I want to work with. They are exactly the same, the difference is the CPU and GPU:
They are already bought, so I can't change any specs. 99% of my time will be spent in Archicad, I would occasionally need to render something in lumion, so my priority is performance in Archicad. I understand the 12700k is slightly better, but the rtx 3080 is a considerable improvement over the 3060 ti.
Which one would you recommend? Thanks.

I would swap the GPUs and work with the i7 12700k with rtx 3080.

Thanks for the quick reply! Unfortunately that's not an option I have, I don't have access to modifying them.

Then don't bother. The difference between those two is not that big, so I think you won't even notice it during plain Archicad usage. If you want to render a lot using Redshift I think you might get more out of the rtx 3080.

The other spec. are the same in both? (f.e. RAM, nvme m2, etc).
If so, take option 2;-)
You will notice the difference between 3060ti /3080 (50-100%), you won't notice the difference between 12700k vs 12700 (5-10%).
