3D Explore comes and goes

I am using Archicad 12 at the moment - my problem is that sometimes I can use the 'walk around' button and sometimes I can't. That is the button was greyed out for a while, came back for a few days and then disappeared again.

I'm using a Sony Vaio VGN-FW21E with 4 GB RAM, 320GB Hard drive, ATi Mobility Radeon HD 3470, Graphics Memory 1530 MB, Processor Type Intel Core 2 Duo processor P8400, Processor speed 2.26

Make sure you are NOT in "Axonometric" mode in the 3d window. Walk around is not available in Axon.... only ORBIT.
