AC15 HotFix 2- Quick Options Bug? - Layer only slides right

Eduardo Rolon

When docked on the right of the monitor the "layer" button on QUick Options only goes right disappearing from the monitor.
All other flyouts switch the direction based on the position of the palette.

Hi Eduardo,

I cannot reproduce what you're seeing - at least on Lion 10.7.3 I wonder if in making it work with Lion, something got broken with Snow Leopard?

Ops forgot to change my profile. I am running 10.7.3.
Restarted AC and the problem persist.

Ok, Found the problem.
If Quick Options is touching Project Map then Layers goes always to the right. If it does not touch then it behaves.

Interesting. Quick Options is snapped below Project Map for me and i still cannot reproduce the behavior... I'm testing with all AC windows/palettes on my main monitor, a 27" Apple LED display...

I loaded the Palette scheme xml that you posted, which is for a smaller monitor than mine, so I moved everything to the right edge of my monitor and still could not reproduce.

Maybe post the monitor model or resolution you are using, and someone else with the same monitor / res can test...?

What a strange thing...

Cheers,
Karl

Monitor is an Apple 23 LCD.

It gets weirder, if I do a "New and Reset" it works ok but if I open a previous file then it happens again.
