Newbie question:
I am using Archicad 9 on a Dell Precision M60 laptop with Windows XP , 1Mb Ram.
Software keeps crashing!!
Is there a tool that can purge drawings as AutoCad??
More info is needed but if you want to try something...
Open a New ArchiCAD file (use the "new ans reset option")
use merge to import the problem file
AC should clean up any problems

Many thanks for the tip, I will try this.
Also I have found the software much more stable without setting the snap grid up to the various drawing elements, as part of the drawing process.... in fact turning the grid off may have solved teh problem also.
To get around this, startup AC and open using the Recent Files. If you don't see the file you want to work on, open a Recent File and after that is open, then open using the open command the file you want.
I have this problem all the time in AC and this is the only way I can get around it.
