Hi,
One of our end users is experiencing a delayed startup of Archicad 26 of about 10-15 minutes.
The users laptop is totally sufficient to run previous versions of Archicad and even previous revisions of Archicad 26.
We have read the post about "Update 4" and tried the instructions to clear the C:\Users\<USER>\Graphisoft\IPC Data, but no improvement unfortunately.
Others seem to have reported the same issue. Is there a workaround or a coming update which solves this?
Operating system used: Windows 22H2

This was a bug with an update where the temporary files took a long time to be removed. After the update has been installed and launched the first time it should then start as normal the second time.

Thank you for clarifying!
We are running this version now, but unfortunately the issue persists.
Is it recommended to try a downgrade of the version?

The next time you launch Archicad 26 after the update it shouldn't take that long to open. Does it take 15 minutes each time?

Have a read of this article, it explains the issue and a workaround if your issue still persists.

This is not going to help anyone.
I just installed the 26 update (build 6014) and it started as normal first time.

Other than the bug mentioned for AC26 6014, here are some possible explanations as to why AC takes time to start:
1. The Startup Dialog contains data/files saved on a network drive. If Archicad cannot reach these files/or takes too much time to check these files, it may get stuck at the startup dialog. Try clearing out the recently opened files from this dialog
2. Slow to get a license: if you use network license, it's possible that the server search list wasn't set up properly, or the connection to the license server was slow
3. Graphics card issue: sometimes the integrated graphics card gets in the way of starting Archicad. Try disabling it from Device Manager
