Archicad 27 Crashing when editing text in elevations — All updated OS Sonoma and AC27

Hello,

My AC is crashing pretty much every time I edit any text (labels, text boxes) in elevation. Its also having a lot of trouble with a very simple model thats made into a 3D view and placed on a layout. The issues seem buggy, as I've had AC for over 15 years. My OS and AC are all updated with the latest. I'm hoping that I can figure this out tonight so that when I get back to work tomorrow I can sort this out before my work day starts. Any help would be massively appreciated!

Archicad 27.2.0 Update fixes it. (Mac Intel based)

Yes, for the Mac version i don't have problems with this isue but for the Windows version the probleme is still there, or at least for our computer at work

Barry,

Doing the update seams to do it for me. I have AC running on 3 different MACs.

I have not heard of this affecting any Windows users until now.

It seems to have only been a MAC issue.

I just tried on a Windows machine with the latest build (5003).

CAPS lock on and no problem deleting or using backspace while editing text.

Is it only happening on that one work computer?

Send the bug report off, take note of the bug number, and follow up with your local support to see what they say.

@Oana Cojocaru ,

Here is my reply to your post in another thread.

I see from your post here that your colleague's machine is not crashing - just locking up?

If so, there will be no bug report to send off.

But I would still report this to your local support.

I have not heard of this happening on a Windows machine until now.

I might be another problem all together if it is specifically happening with labels in the elevations.

I just tested with an autotext label and had no issues.

Hello Barry

We have only one computer with Windows instaled (the others are on Mac)...

For now my colleague hasn't tried working in the elevations so we still don't know if the isue persistes, but we will try solving it with our local support.

Thank you

Not affecting any Windows here.

Seems you are trying to install the wrong language version.

You are USA language, you may be trying to install the INT update.

Make sure you are downloading the USA update for Intel Mac.
