Those of us who downloaded the released version of Archicad 28 when it was made available may have gotten a different version than what is available now, even thought the build numbers are still the same.
Mac Silicon installers went from 3,380,337,848 bytes to 3,411,682,787 bytes as of yesterday:
The Windows installers went from 3.18 GB (3,415,841,208 bytes) to 3.25 GB (3,494,049,752 bytes)
The resulting Archicad 28 application folder also seems to be larger now, although keeping the same number of items.
Note that using the Check for Updates in the Help menu will report that there are no updates to the earlier installation. In my case, I decided to download the newer versions of the installers and manually uninstall Archicad 28 from my machines and reinstall with the larger and newer installers, just to be safe. I don't know if there was any real improvement or just a waste of time.
But I would be curious what the developers think happened, and if there should have been a slight update to the build number.
Operating system used: Mac Apple Silicon Sonoma 14.6.1

Hi @Ransom Ratcliff,
Following the release process for Archicad 28, a new version of the CodeMeter driver was released. In response, we updated the Archicad 28 installer to include this latest driver version, after the initial rollout. The only difference between the original and updated installers is the inclusion of the newer CodeMeter driver—no other changes were made.
For those who have already installed Archicad 28, there’s no need to reinstall with the updated package. Your current version should work perfectly.
Hope this clears things up!
