Has anyone run Archicad on a new Mac Studio? If so how was the performance?

I found this comparison table online for GPU’s inside some Mac products with AMD & NVIDIA GPU’s.
https://appleinsider.com/articles/21/10/19/m1-pro-and-m1-max-gpu-performance-versus-NVIDIA-and-amd
For GPU capacity, you will need to look up the specs for each product individually.
Hard to put an exact GB value on a GPU inside a Mac without doing the tests as above.
I hope that link above is a reliable source guide ?

I watched several review videos on the Mac Studio. One said that whatever configuration that we buy, we cannot upgrade things inside the unit, is that true ?
For example is it possible to upgrade your CPU memory from 32GB to 64GB if you choose to do so later on ?
I am new to Mac desktops and their subsequent OS systems and their upgrade procedure for them. I do have an IPad mini & Iphone that allow you to upgrade IOS for free up to a certain level.
All costs need to be considered before buying.

I have been a Mac user for many years and I'm a great support of the Apple ecosystem. Essentially Apple product do what Apple say they will do PROVIDING the app developers keep their software up to date. The level of compatibility between all their products is unsurpassed by any other system. They may not always be the fastest but they are invariably the most reliable. OK I am an Apple fan. They keep pushing the tech boundaries.
In answer to your question, currently it's not possible to upgrade components inside the Mac Studio box. OS upgrades are free within the hardware life of each product. For example I have a mid 2014 MacBook Pro Laptop and its only with the advent of OS Ventura 13 (the latest macOS) that I have not been able to upgrade so I'm still on Monterey, however Apple are still issuing upgrades for that (older) OS. Also I can't run 26 Apple Silicon version but 26 INTEL works fine. I have and iPad Pro 12.9 inch (I think the first version) and this runs the latest iOS (16.2) which I can run as a second monitor or even a touchpad if I were so inclined.
If you have any other questions just ask away.
And to everyone on the forum have a great Christmas break and an interesting and enjoyable new year.

Thank you for taking the time to answer my questions. I have decided way back that I am going with Apple from now on.

Can be done but probably better to buy what you think you will need with a Mac Studio. They are hard to crack open and with techs who are completely nuts like this guy on the video it’s probably better to leave it as is ?
I am capable enough of upgrading my own memory in a PC but Apple are trying hard to protect themselves from plagiarizing. That’s cool because we too try and protect our design work.
Will have to consider these things carefully.

Hi David, is it possible to install AC24 on a Mac Studio with an Apple Silicon chip even though it may not be a native Apple Silicon version of the program with all the benefits ?

Yes I have it running on mine. Obviously it doesn’t run natively but runs under Rosetta

Thanks, I have purchased a AMSM1max from the Apple store but mine is only the base model because I only do low rise residential.
My graphics card in my HP elite is only 1024MB and is only rated at 0.624TF.
This AMSM1max has a 24 core GPU and should be capable of 7.8TF (8GB VRAM) I hope at least ?

Don't forget to use your iPhone to do the basic setup stuff on your Mac Studio
