When I create an Ellipse either with the Diagonal or Semi-Diagonal method (first two methods), the created Ellipse will have only one hotspot in its middle. It won't have quarter points.
If I try to cut and paste it, it will be gone.
If I drag it, then it becomes correct and all hotspots appear.
However, then I need to drag it back to correct position where I created it. If I undo it, it goes back to having one hotspot.
I turned off hardware acceleration so I think this is not a graphics card issue.
Anyone else having this problem?

Can anyone else confirm this in AC15? I use AC15 INT.

NO problems here (AC15 INT):
1. 5 hotspots
2. It remains
3. No efect, still 5 hotspots
4. No need to drag it

TMA_80: What kind of graphics card do you have?
Actually, I have an ATI card in this machine I am currently using.
I see Andro has an NVidia card.

Yes, mine is an ATI Radeon 2100, a little bit younger than yours.
But both are 4-5 year old cards.
That may be the cause.
Anyway, I will report this to GS.

I have an ATI Firepro card (I guess it is failrly new) and no problems with the ellipse at all - 5 hotspots straight up.
I am still using the pre_release version of 15 though (build 2702).

GS already knows about this bug.
Apparently it is not related to graphics card type.
It is scheduled to be fixed in the first Hotfix.
Till then there are workarounds:
