I was trying to use the "manage custom sizes" selection in the paper size box in the print window. By going up to the "Super D" selection on paper sizes, there is an option to use "Super D on the roll" That solved my problem. HP is supposed to get back to me about using custom sizes from the roll.

That worked when I was printing a PDF, but now I'm trying to print from ArchiCad and I'm having the same problem as before. Anybody?

If I choose the preview option in the print box, then print the preview, it works fine. Is that the proper routine?

In the Print Dialog> Paper/Quality... Do you have "Roll" Selected as the paper source?

Marc,
Thanks for the suggestion. I tried it with negative results, same error message. By the way, my brother Tom was an architect in Ketchum.
