Another new bar has been set..............but.........showing up for a meeting with one of these would be a just a tad ostentatious. Especially your porter lugging it in for you from your Bentley +/or to your favorite WiFi coffee shop

My configured unit ran right up to the $5K mark in moments And I'm guessing 12 lb.s+ w/ batteries. What do you think? That could be rugged in the messenger bag!

I read it is more than 18 pounds.
Awesome design, though.

You could work up a thirst just moving from room to room, and actually setting that thing on your lap, you might need help to get up!

At half again the price and almost three times the weight - but the same screen resolution - I think I'll stick with my MacBook Pro. The price difference is more than the cost of my projector which lets me watch movies at 8' diagonally (and even make presentations to clients on the odd occasion).

It looks fun, but then I realized I could get a 20" Imac w/ about the same specs for about than $1,800 and it only weighs a couple pounds more. Oh, and minus the battery, but really how many times would you actually run it on battery? I plug in my powerbook everywhere I go. It's embarrassing to have your battery die during a presentation. I am actually starting to think about this as a replacement.
