Mac Power Book Pro won't install Archicad 10?

I just got a new mac power book pro and need to install archicad 10, after inserting the program disc and waiting indefinitely, nothing happens, it appears as though the computer is thinking& thinking & thinking. could it be that the computer i purchased only has 512 MB of memory or should that not hold me up when initially installing. what else might it be???

Did you try double-clicking the installer program on the disc? Or did you just put the disk in?

I don't belive so. But from my understanding, the program works for both. Is this true?

That's why.

Archicad 10 will run on a MacIntel machine but the Installer program does not.

If you have the PPC version running somewhere, you can copy if onto the MacIntel machine and it will run fine (just a little slower).

Yes, it's goofy.

You should be able to download the Intel version from:

I Archicad 9 on MacbookPro renders invisible any item printed, downloaded or screen captured on the desktop. This is annoying one must make a search and click in the item than it appears. Apple is speechless

Is that Desktop stored on your local machine or on a Network volume? I've seen that problem on networked systems before (with roaming profiles) but never a stand-alone machine.
