Print Dialog Box with Tiny Font

I thought it was just me, but during a recent webinar about Schedules, another Windows 11 user of Archicad 29 mentioned the same thing. Since the most recent update, whenever he goes to Print 2D Document, the font size on the dialog box is tiny.

It *only* happens when there are external monitors plugged in. It doesn't matter if the Archicad session and dialog box are on the laptop's main screen or on one of the external monitors; it comes out tiny each time.

One recommendation - which they admitted was a 'try this, we don't know if it will do anything' was to purge all of the Project Preferences and Work Environment customizations. Not going to go that far right away.

Note that it doesn't happen on 27 or 28, and only started happening recently on 29. It did *not* happen when 29 rolled out initially.

I feel like there was an old post about this... Are the external monitors connected prior to AC being launched?

Always. The external monitors are connected via USB-C before the computer is even turned on.

This is happening to me also (on windows 10 pc), I'm a late upgrader to from v28 to v29 in the last week and it has done this straight away on v29. Have reached out and no fix yet back from my reseller..

Whatever you do DO NOT try to adjust the dpi settings when the print 2d document box is open, it will get cut off too small and is a nightmare to restore it (got it back eventually).

For what it's worth I'm on a single monitor running 4k at 175% scaling (edit: a pc, not a laptop)

175% could be the problem.

Archicad prefers 100%.

You could try 200% as it is an easier conversion.

Have tried all the standard DPI scaling settings, and the dialogue box text doesn't alter with any of them. It's similar to when old programs don't support DPI scaling.  Weird thing is that it's only that box (and the printing progress bar box aftwards), everything else in Archicad scales just fine.
